PDFCensor ("PDFCensor", "we", "us", or "our") is a PDF redaction application developed and published by Sezer Fidancı.
This Privacy Policy explains how PDFCensor handles information when you use our application.
Our core privacy principle is simple: your PDF documents stay on your device.
1. Information We Do Not Collect
PDFCensor does not require you to create an account or provide personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, address, or other identifying information in order to use the application.
PDFCensor does not upload, store, or transmit your PDF documents to our servers.
PDF files and their contents are processed locally on your device. The application can also be used offline for PDF processing and redaction.
We do not have access to the contents of the PDF files you process using PDFCensor.
2. PDF Documents and Redacted Content
PDFCensor is designed to process PDF documents locally on your device.
When you open, edit, redact, or export a PDF:
- The document is processed locally on your device.
- The contents of the document are not uploaded to PDFCensor servers.
- We do not receive or store copies of your documents.
- We do not analyze, sell, or use your document contents for advertising or profiling.
- We cannot access sensitive information contained in your documents.
You are responsible for ensuring that your redacted documents are properly redacted before sharing or publishing them.
3. In-App Purchases and RevenueCat
PDFCensor offers optional paid subscriptions through Apple's App Store.
We use RevenueCat to help manage subscription status and in-app purchases.
When you make or restore a purchase, RevenueCat may process certain technical and purchase-related information necessary to provide subscription functionality. This may include information such as an anonymous app user identifier, purchase information, subscription status, product identifiers, transaction information, and device or application information.
RevenueCat does not receive the contents of your PDF documents through PDFCensor.
RevenueCat's processing of information is governed by its own privacy practices.

Apple also processes information associated with App Store purchases in accordance with Apple's own policies and terms.
4. Anonymous Use
PDFCensor does not require registration or login.
You can use the application without creating a PDFCensor account.
Subscription functionality may use anonymous technical identifiers provided or generated through the RevenueCat SDK in order to associate purchases with an application installation and maintain subscription access.
These identifiers are not used by PDFCensor to identify you by name or contact you directly.
5. Analytics and Advertising
PDFCensor does not currently use third-party analytics services.
PDFCensor does not currently use advertising networks or display third-party advertisements.
We do not use your PDF documents or their contents for advertising purposes.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information.
We do not share your PDF documents or their contents with third parties.
The only third-party service currently integrated into PDFCensor is RevenueCat, which is used to manage in-app purchases and subscriptions.
Information processed by RevenueCat is subject to RevenueCat's own privacy policy.
We may also disclose information if required to do so by applicable law, legal process, or a valid governmental request. Because PDF documents are processed locally and are not uploaded to our servers, we generally do not possess copies of your documents that could be provided in response to such requests.
7. Data Retention
PDFCensor does not maintain a server-side database containing your PDF documents or personal profile.
Documents created or processed using PDFCensor remain under your control on your device and are subject to the storage and deletion mechanisms of your device and operating system.
Purchase and subscription-related information may be retained by Apple and/or RevenueCat according to their respective policies and applicable legal requirements.
8. Data Security
We design PDFCensor so that PDF processing occurs locally on your device.
Because documents are not uploaded to our servers, the risk associated with transmitting document contents over the internet is minimized.
However, no software or device can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device, operating system, backups, and exported documents.
9. Children's Privacy
PDFCensor is not directed toward a specific age group and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Because PDFCensor does not require an account or directly collect personal information, children may use the application subject to the applicable rules of the App Store and their parent or guardian.

10. International Users
PDFCensor is available internationally.
Because PDFCensor itself does not operate a server-side system for storing or processing PDF documents, your documents remain on your device regardless of where you use the application.
Third-party services such as RevenueCat may process purchase-related or technical information in countries where they or their service providers operate. Such processing is subject to their applicable privacy policies and legal obligations.
11. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your country or region, you may have rights regarding personal information processed by third parties such as RevenueCat or Apple, including rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing.
Because PDFCensor does not maintain a user account database or store your PDF documents on our servers, many privacy rights can be exercised directly through your device, Apple account, or the applicable third-party service.
